Using the "New" button to connect the designer to an on-prem Business Central

You should use the New button when setting up a connection to an on-prem Business Central installation. If you are running the designer on the same machine with your service tier (NST), it can detect your service tier settings by reading the configuration file. Additionally, it can modify your service tier settings if needed.
